Interior design at MHZ begins with how a space will be used, then gives it a calm, coherent character through planning, materials and light.
Plan first, then decorate
We start with the brief: who uses the space, when, and for what. Circulation, privacy, storage and daylight shape the layout before any finish is chosen.
A good plan makes a room feel effortless. It is also the part of a design that is hardest to change later, so we give it the time it deserves.
Materials and light
Character comes from a small number of well-chosen materials — natural stone, timber, textured plaster, textiles — and from light that is placed with intent.
We consider how materials feel, how they age and how they are maintained, not only how they look on the first day.

The design moves from layout options to concept direction to detailed selections. At each stage you review and refine, so decisions are made with confidence before anything is built.

Do I need drawings before contacting you?
No. Drawings help, but photos, approximate measurements or a simple description are enough for a first conversation.
Can the design continue into fit-out?
Yes. Design and fit-out can be handled together, which keeps decisions consistent from concept to completion. The scope is agreed for each project.
