What happens
A first conversation about the space, what you want to achieve, how the space will be used, and the timing you have in mind. Where useful, we arrange a visit to understand the site.
What helps
Drawings or measurements if available, photos of the current space, and any images that capture the feeling you are after.
Design development
What happens
The design moves from layout options to a concept direction and then to materials, lighting and detailed selections. Each stage is reviewed with you before the next begins.
What helps
Feedback at each review, and decisions from everyone who needs to approve the design.
Scope & quotation
What happens
Once the design is agreed, it is translated into a defined scope of work and a quotation, so you know exactly what is included before work starts.
What helps
Any building, landlord or mall requirements, and your preferred timing.
Execution
What happens
Work proceeds according to the agreed scope, with a clear point of contact and regular updates. Decisions that need your input are raised early.
What helps
Access to the site, and timely answers on decisions that arise.
Handover
What happens
We walk through the finished space with you, address any final points and hand it over, ready to be lived in, opened or occupied.
What helps
Time for a final walkthrough together.
The stages are adapted to each project. A design-only project, for example, concludes once the design is complete.
